EL Regreso Inc., founded in 1986, is a bi-lingual, Drug and Alcohol free residential/ambulatory treatment program. We are licensed and funded by New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS) and the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (USHUD). We service the communities of Williamsburg, Bushwick, and Greenpoint which are located in Northern Brooklyn. Communities greatly affected by the use and abuse of drugs, alcohol, and the spread of HIV/AIDS.
El Regreso helps participants change their negative attitude, and destructive behavior. We assist them in developing a new sense of direction, self-worth and strong values. Our mission is to help in the developed of positive and realistic alternatives where residents change their negative ways of living to positive, responsible, self sufficient individuals.
El Regreso provides two (2) types of treatment: residential treatment for approximately one (1) year and an ambulatory program for approximately six (6) months. Each program depends on the progress and efforts of the individual in improving his/her lifestyle. The results will be positive changes in their personalities which will free them from drugs and alcohol to live a healthy and productive life.
